Counting All as Loss for the Sake of Christ
You ever take a minute and look around your life and reflect on the blessing He has given you? I’m sure you have, we all do at times. This morning, as I was digging into the word, I was reflecting on some of those things and it struck me that much of what I was grateful for were things of this world. Things of the flesh. Now I suppose it’s completely normal and it’s good to be grateful, but the more I wondered about it the more I realized that in light of what we have in Christ, nothing compares. Nothing this world has to offer comes even close to the blessing of having a personal relationship with Jesus… NOTHING.May our hearts yearn for more of Him and less of this world. May we be a world who seeks after God’s righteousness, not out of pride but out of love. May we yearn for more of Him because He first loved us.This brings me back to center and gives me balance. “But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ.”Philippians 3:7 Y’all have a good weekend now, ya hear!Be Nice, Grace Wins
