Don't Regret Your Regrets - Learn From Them
You know, sometimes I think back on my life and cringe at some of the mistakes I’ve made. Regrets, we all have them. It may be something you wish you hadn’t done, or a missed opportunity where you didn’t take action and wish that you had. It might be something that was done to you; you were the victim, yet you still feel regret. Some people have bigger regrets, or dwell on their regrets more than others, but everybody has them. You get my point, so now what? What can we do about them? Here is some advice that may sound strange: Don’t regret your regrets. That’s right – don’t regret your regrets! Learn to love them because they can teach you how to pursue a life you don’t need to regret. Now, I wouldn’t say I “love” my regrets but I have learned to love that they are part of my story God had laid out for me. It’s what made me who I am today...for better or worse. However, regrets don’t have to produce negative feedback. If you are mindful of what you are doing with your regrets, you can ask God to help you make different choices that turn those regrets into positive feedback.I read a quote that said, “Life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards.” “For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death. For see what earnestness this godly grief has produced in you, but also what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what longing, what zeal, what punishment! At every point you have proved yourselves innocent in the matter.”2 Corinthians 7:10-11 Be Nice, Grace Wins

Standing Tall on Your Knees
“Nobody stands as tall as a Christian on his knees”I love this anonymous quote. It reminds me to spend time on my knees and thank the Lord for all his blessings and forgiveness. I need it. And because I need it (forgiveness), and because he gave it, I am filled with His grace. God has me covered...
