Fear: False Evidence Appearing Real
What are you afraid of? For most of us, it’s usually something that isn’t really something we should be afraid of, but we have manifested it in our mind that we have created this fear from nothing. There is a great acronym I like regarding FEAR; False Evidence, Appearing, Real. You see most of our fears are based on lies. To uncover our fears we need to seek the Truth...guess what? Yep, Jesus is the Truth. “and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."”John 8:32 So, check this out; 85% of the situations we worry about don't happen and of the 15% that do, 79% of them are not as bad as we thought. The statistics above show how often the things we worry about never come to pass. Fears are closely linked to untruths. Identify the lies linked to your fears; what worst case scenarios are you holding in your mind right now? How likely are they to happen? Be honest with yourself. Jesus wants to set us free from lies and fear.Times are scary right now and we don’t what what the future holds, but we do know who holds it...“Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."”Hebrews 13:5 Be Nice, Grace Wins
