Finding Your God-Given Purpose and Direction
Ever felt like sometimes you’re a “Yes Man”? Man I sure use to be, that’s for sure. For much of my life I was a bit directionless. If someone asked me to do something and if it even kind of felt like a good idea, I would do it. I spread myself pretty thin. Because I could turn my hand to a number of things (to a certain degree) I was tempted to follow other people’s dreams and even copy their vision because I wasn’t sure of my own calling. I thought I ran my life, but clearly I didn’t. Maybe you know this feeling or you’ve been there yourself? Maybe you’re there now?But a number of years ago, I realized that I needed to say “no” to certain things in order to be more effective at keeping to the revelation God had given me. I think I had been wandering around, keeping busy, but not feeling centered or purposeful. It felt like a minor miracle if I managed to avoid messing up all the things in my life each day. We are uniquely created by Jesus to do certain things which He has already set out for us. If we are not careful, we could miss that calling, trying to do everyone else’s work for them or being what or whom they want us to be. God needs to be in charge of our calling and our direction, not other people. Let God have the reigns and show you the life He has laid out for you, not the life you or others think you should have. And the beautiful promise He gives us when we do this is true rest and peace for us, His loved ones. “But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—”Ephesians 2:4-5 Enjoy your 24!Be Nice, Grace Wins!

Trust God Without Having All the Answers
“Sometimes we just have to trust God enough to go even when we don’t have all the answers.” -Tim TebowSo as a UGA fan, naturally I didn’t care for him when he played for Florida, but I certainly admire his commitment to the Gospel and believe he’s a faithful servant. To that point, he’s right in...
