From Anxiety to Faith: Who Holds Your Future
Are we addressing the real issues in our anxiety over what the future holds? Is our anxiety a product of not knowing what the future holds? I submit to you that we are anxious because WE are trying to control what happens and not truly giving our lives to God to navigate. We may “believe” he has a plan for us, but do we really “trust” that plan? My guess is we say we do, but our anxiety over the future proves we haven’t completely let go and put all our FAITH in The Lord. Belief isn’t Faith. “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”Philippians 4:6 You might not know what the future holds, but all you need to know today is who holds it. Today, think about how can you can fix your eyes on Jesus and his promises towards you, rather than focusing on your circumstances and the unknown parts of the future. Jesus promises to be with you at all times, so regardless of what your future looks like, you can take comfort in knowing that God has gone before you.Relax, breathe...let God drive man and have a great week! Be Nice. Grace Wins.
