God's Got Your Past, Present, and Future Covered
“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.”Psalms 139:13-16 So, the last few night have been tough on me as I’ve had some things laying heavy on my mind. I’ve prayed for God to show me direction and give me peace in my heart about the plans he has for me. Today, I got honest about my struggles and my worries were put to rest. You see, without knowing I was doing it, I was letting my faith in God slip from my immediate thoughts. Instead, I filled my week with worry and wasteful conjecture. The irony of it all, is I’ve been studying and writing about God’s control on our lives and how he protects us and yet here I was doing the very thing I was talking about not doing. Good grief, what a donkey. You see, God leads, directs, guides, provides and covers all the bases in our lives. God covers our past, present and future. God covers our past with forgiveness and healing, God covers our present with grace and He covers our future with promise and provision. When you face any situation that seems hopeless remember that God covered your bases before you were born. It’s funny how “we” allow ourselves to go through this insidious process when facing difficulties. But I believe this is God talking to us saying, “I got this, I’m right here.”Have a great weekend!God>MePeace,

Trust God Without Having All the Answers
“Sometimes we just have to trust God enough to go even when we don’t have all the answers.” -Tim TebowSo as a UGA fan, naturally I didn’t care for him when he played for Florida, but I certainly admire his commitment to the Gospel and believe he’s a faithful servant. To that point, he’s right in...
