How Are You Living Between Sundays?
What are you doing? I don’t mean what are you doing right now, but what are you doing in your life and how are you dong it?I ask myself this question a lot. I ask it not in relation to my career or anything, I ask myself this as it pertains to what am I doing and how am I doing it?Are our weekends drunken? Do we share crude and insensitive jokes and posts on social media? How do we treat others? Are our decision based on our own selfish desires or are they based on putting others first? Basically, how are we acting “between Sundays”? “Between Sundays”, it’s an awesome combination of two words that a buddy shared with me years ago. It challenges me every time I think of the two words. It simply makes me reflect on how we are living those other six days of the week. Er’body gonna see you at church on Sunday filling up the offering plate, but what’s going on when you leave?“All things are lawful, but not all things are helpful. All things are lawful, but not all things build up. Let no one seek his own good, but the good of his neighbor.”1 Corinthians 10:23-24 I don’t know how you answered these questions. I would hope you answered them in a way that reflects how God would have us behave. That we would reflect His grace and love in our every being. Sadly, I don’t think I can’t answer completely that way, so I keep praying and I keep asking for God to rinse my heart of things not spiritually healthy. I think he is...but I’m a flawed man, and I’ve got work to do. But just like any relationship, our relationship with God takes time and a lot of work. Good news is, we know how it turns out. So think about your life and how you’re living it. Is it for YOU, putting yourself first? Or is it for Him and putting others first?Be Nice, Grace WinsFMJPS. Sorry I missed Friday, I’ve been sick in bed all last week and simply couldn’t answer the bell. My apologies.

Learning Patience: Waiting on God's Perfect Timing
I have been forced to learn a lot about myself the last four years and one of the things I’ve learned is I needed to get better with patience. Not only with life but mostly with people. I always thought I was a relatively patient person until I started trying to really learn what it meant to be p...
