Immanuel: God's Greatest Christmas Gift
It’s Christmas Eve and by now, us guys, we should be getting started on the Christmas Shopping! But seriously, Christmas is a great time for family, giving and sharing the “Christmas Spirit”! But are we stopping to soak in what Christmas is all about? I mean, we all know that it is a celebration of the birth of Jesus, but are we really taking in all that this signifies?“"Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel" (which means, God with us).”Matthew 1:23 Tomorrow we celebrate the birth of the greatest gift God could have ever given us. Our Lord and Savior! In perfect conception that only God could pull off, he sent his Son to save us...They called him Immanuel, God among us. I mean, he's the almighty and powerful creator, yet what He wants to be known for is that He's with us. This really is the theme of the Bible: God created and loves us, sin separated us from Him, and the rest of the Bible is the story of how God brought us close again through Jesus. It’s the greatest story ever told and it’s the story of our salvation!Merry Christmas to all of you!Be Nice, Grace WinsFMJ**We’ll start back Monday, I’ve got some eatin’ and goofin’ off to do in the next few days!
