Learning Patience Under Pressure
It’s “treatment Tuesday” again, and I think about the ride over to the Oncology center among the droves of people rushing to get to their job…only I’m not going to work. I’m going to sit with many people who are going through a rough season, so may worse than mine. It’s taught me to learn some patience and some more Grace to those who’s lives aren’t affected by mine and those that are…You see, we live in a world that is going by so fast that finding patience is becoming a lost art. However, one of the best ways to be patient is to carry on with life, knowing God is in control...not you. I will say it one more time, “God is in control, not you.” “Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope,”Romans 5:3-4 I think we need to learn to love under pressure. To smile kindly when things around us are crumbling. After all, we’ve survived 100% of the things that has happened in our lives already, stands to reason we’ll probably make it through this too...Learn to endure, builds character. Be Nice. Grace Wins.
