Planting Seeds: Faith in God's Unseen Work
So, will we always see the result of the work we’ve done by witnessing to others and being there when they need us the most? Most certainly not. But that shouldn’t discourage us from being there and sharing the Gospel. You see, we never really know how God is using us, we just need to have faith that he is. Sometimes we think we are asked to move mountains when Jesus is calling us to simply plant seeds. We may not see the end result but we must have faith in the process. After all, Jesus did say that all it takes to move a mountain is faith the size of a mustard seed. When Jesus came calling on me, it was well after the seed had been planted and before I knew it. Weakness is going to come, the world will place distractions in your path, and you may try to lean on your own good works and understanding. Take heart that God is here to help you grow. He will pick you up when you don’t think you can stand. He will never leave you or abandon you. “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”Proverbs 16:3 Be Nice. Grace wins.
