Ready to Defend Your Faith
“but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,”1 Peter 3:15 So, here it is. Are you ready to tell about or defend your faith when asked or challenged? It’s a big question. I mean, we all know why we believe, but can you share that, with grace, to someone else? Many people don’t really know what to say when we are asked about our faith. We can sometimes be at a loss for words trying to explain it. A lot of times the questions we are asked come across as aggressive. But it really doesn’t matter the “why” behind the question. We need to be ready to give an answer as to why we believe what we believe and why we live the way of Christ. It is an opportunity that Christ gives us to share our hope and we should know it. Look, I’m not an studied theologian, I didn’t go to a Seminary school. What I am is a lay man with a testimony of grace and salvation in my own life. A testimony that I am called to give as disciple of Christ. You are too. You see, when we were called to The Great Commission, there wasn’t any fine print that said, “only those with a degree or formal education in The Word should go out and make disciples.” Nope, Jesus called us all. So, know your scriptures, know why you believe what you believe, so you won’t be confused when someone opposes your faith with their questions. Think about the questions the watching world around us asks, and be ready with answers to give them the reason for the hope you have. Be Nice. Grace Wins.

Trust God Without Having All the Answers
“Sometimes we just have to trust God enough to go even when we don’t have all the answers.” -Tim TebowSo as a UGA fan, naturally I didn’t care for him when he played for Florida, but I certainly admire his commitment to the Gospel and believe he’s a faithful servant. To that point, he’s right in...
