Remember Who God Is When Circumstances Overwhelm
“remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, 'My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose,'”Isaiah 46:9-10I don’t know about you, but sometimes I forget God is God. When circumstances overwhelm me, when anxiety creeps up in my soul, and when things look like crap, I tend to give control to everything but God. Easy to do right? We all go through times that are less than ideal, but even those situations are seasons of mercy and grace, because God is God, and because He is God, He is good. But what do we do when things seem to be going to crap? First, we remember. We take time to remember who God is. We look at times in our lives when He has delivered us, blessed us, and carried us. We tend to only look at the present situation in front of us, and we tend to forget how mighty God is. There are countless examples in Scripture of God and His faithfulness. We can study the attributes of God and remember that same God is for us and not against us and He works all things together for the good of those who love Him. Pretty awesome huh?Look, we were created for God and God’s glory. We are only mere, tiny players in the overall scheme of God’s story. Our lives aren’t about us, but they are about our good God, and we can trust in His plan and His will.Have a great weekend and please be safe and look out for your fellow man. Be Nice, Grace Wins

Trust God Without Having All the Answers
“Sometimes we just have to trust God enough to go even when we don’t have all the answers.” -Tim TebowSo as a UGA fan, naturally I didn’t care for him when he played for Florida, but I certainly admire his commitment to the Gospel and believe he’s a faithful servant. To that point, he’s right in...
