Taking Responsibility Instead of Passing the Buck
You ever feel like you have such a huge load or responsibility you find yourself ducking them or delegating them to someone else? I certainly do. But getting someone else to do them doesn’t change the fact you’re responsible for them. But when you take up the responsibility that’s in front of you instead of pawning it off, God’s Grace can help us tackle that list. Look, I get it, life is unfair most of the time in this wicked, ridiculous world we live in...but God is just. I always have the ability to choose how to respond to life’s curved balls and ridiculousness, and for that, I am held responsible by God. I may not be able to change the way people treat me or what happens in my life, but I most definitely can change the way I respond. I am responsible to God for my response. I/We resort to playing the blame-game when things don’t go our way, ever since the Garden of Eden, but we cannot dodge our responsibility and for that I have to give an account. As children of God, let’s choose to be more responsible today. I need to, how about you? As Paul said, “For each will have to bear his own load.”Galatians 6:5 ESVBe Nice, Grace wins!FMJNote: I am taking a week of R&R in the Rocky Mountains next week to relax before I start treatments for the foreseeable future. Due to the time change and service, we will take the week off and pick back up on the 30th. Y’all be safe and be nice!
