This is God's World, Not Ours
You know, it’s tough when things don’t go the way we think they will. All of us struggle every day to try to get control of our environments. We try to build financial wealth so that we won't suffer need. We try to take care of our health so we don't feel pain or suffer illness. We try to manage our relationships to reduce stress. It is humbling, though, to realize that we aren't in control of very much. That happened to me this week, a member of this group lost his battle to cancer and it’s hard to realize this isn’t “my world”. You see, we are all just here for a little while and this is God’s world. Regardless of how we think it should play out, it’s going to play out how he designed it to…“The earth is the Lord 's and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein,”Psalms 24:1 We belong to God and so does our plan. It is humbling to realize that we were created for God's benefit, that everything really belongs to him, and that we really own nothing. We are all blessed, give thanks. Have a great weekend. Be Nice. Grace Wins.
