We Need Each Other in Faith
So I’ve spent the afternoon yesterday with family and friends brought together by the sudden illness of my father. And as we gathered and shared stories, cried together and prayed together I couldn’t help but to write something about how we as Christians support one another...so I went digging. “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”Hebrews 10:24-25 Giving encouragement, love, and strength to other believers is one of our greatest priorities. The fact is that we need each other. That is how God designed it. God doesn’t want anyone to “go it alone.” As we gather around in support of my father, friends and family alike, we were anything but alone. I am so grateful. The truth is that building relationships with other Christians is crucial to our own growth. God often sets up “divine appointments” for us to minister to or encourage one another as maybe only we can. Each of us has a testimony that needs to be shared. The principle of strength in numbers applies even to Christians, and having strong relationships with fellow believers helps us grow in our walk with God! I am happy to report that dad is doing better by the grace of God and the power of prayer by a community. While he has a long road ahead, and he is “better” than he was 12 hours ago, I have faith that he will pull through. But he still needs a lot of prayer. Thank you for all the prayers and thoughts sent. We are all grateful. Please no replies to this message, let stay with our rules. Much love,

You ever heard someone say, “that person’s hurt me so many times there’s no way I could ever forgive them”? I have...I may have thought it a time or two as well.
