When God Says No: His Plans for Your Good
When we talk about our struggles and how we are just trying to get through “it” aren’t we really just talking about how we are to deal with God’s NO? I mean think about most of the disappointments you’ve experienced. Probably the one thing they all had in common is they didn’t fit into your plan or what you wanted, right? Yeah, me too. In my life, much like you, I can’t count how many times I’ve gotten the “No” from God. And at the time it never seemed to make much sense. Never does. But when I look back I can see that each one saved me from a pain I couldn’t see at the moment. The pain may have been financial trouble, relationship disasters, or unnecessary risk. I couldn’t understand it in the moment, but afterward, down the road and past the short-term pain of hearing another no, I could see the benefit and thank God for His abundant wisdom.God’s no is always, always for your good.“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”Jeremiah 29:11 Stay warm out there!Be Nice, Grace Wins

To that point, he’s right in...
