While We Were Still Sinners: God's Proven Love
I had a couple great conversations this weekend with a few friends and they were asking me about my journey and how I am where I am and how I got here...their questions gave me reason to reflect on God’s grace he’s shown me. “but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”Romans 5:8 Look man, I love this verse. I have loved it for a long time. It is one of the strongest verses in the Bible. It tells me so much. It tells me that God loves us and that God does not just love us but proves His love for us. God does not just prove His love for us, He proves His love while we’re still in our sin, while we’re a sinner. No matter how much I think I’ve been redeemed, I know I’m still a sinner but I am justified. You see, I see God’s love primarily in the death of Christ, because when He died, He died for us and our sin, to redeem us and rescue us. If you ever feel that God doesn’t care about your hurts, look at the cross. If you ever feel that God’s not digging your action, look at the cross. Take a long look at the cross of Christ and know how very loved you are, loved by the God who made you.Be Nice , Grace Wins.FMJDoctor called Friday to report for the first time in 18 months, we are finally winning.
