Why Good Friday is Truly Good
To the non-believer, today is just Friday. To us, Christians, it’s Good Friday! But why is it good? Most would say it’s the day that Jesus suffered and died on the cross at Mt. Calvary. Tortured and ridiculed as he bled out and died a most graphic death. Why call it good? Good because His death was the turning point and the basis for our belief. It’s the core truth to our salvation. Jesus died for our sins, not some of them, all of them. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance : that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 1 Corinthians 5:13And so three days from now he was resurrected. This we know as Easter. The day that He, by coming back from the dead, proclaimed all believers thereby resurrected from our own death and sin. Guaranteeing all that believe in Him eternal life. “We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. We know that our old self was crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin. For one who has died has been set free from sin. Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.”Romans 6:4-8 I’m going to say that’s as “Good” as it’s going to get!Have a great weekend!Be Nice, Grace Wins

Standing Tall on Your Knees
“Nobody stands as tall as a Christian on his knees”I love this anonymous quote. It reminds me to spend time on my knees and thank the Lord for all his blessings and forgiveness. I need it. And because I need it (forgiveness), and because he gave it, I am filled with His grace. God has me covered...
