True Hope Renews Our Strength
You know, Hope is a word that gets used a lot these days. I hope you’re doing well, I hope you’re doing good, etc. It’s even used in hashtags for crying out loud! Isaiah tells us that the source of our hope is the source of our strength. If our belief and expectation is found in Jesus, our strength is renewed.Look, everything we do or try to do is worthless with out God. He has given us the ability to live large and also rest. I’m talking about real rest too, not the “Netflix and chill” kind. I’m talking about a real serenity kind of peace and rest. If you feel like your strength needs to be renewed, why not say it out loud and remind yourself, “Lord I put my hope again in You”...“Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.”Isaiah 40:28-29 Be Nice. Grace Wins.
